EVERYTHING WE SELL IS GUARANTEED NEW AND PURCHASED EITHER DIRECT FROM THE
MANUFACTURER OR DIRECT FROM AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS. WE STARTED AS A LOCAL
INSTALLATION COMPANY 15 YEARS AGO. WE STRIVE TO INSURE EVERY ORDER IS PROCESSED
THE SAME DAY. WE COMMUNICATE WITH OUR CUSTOMERS ON ANY ISSUES THAT MAY OCCUR.
Our phones are very busy during the day. There are
four people just answering the phones all day. So if you get the voice mail,
please do leave us a message. All messages left are responded to by the end of
the day unless its close to or after 5PM PST that you left a message. We have
people here on weekends also, responding to emails and calls.
We represent over 400 manufacturers and currently have around 96,000 items in
our database available to sell. If you can't find what you are looking for
please call or email, there is a good chance we can get the item for you. We are
updating our database daily as new products become available and other products
become discontinued.
Policies
Your card is not charged until we confirm the order has shipped.
Your bank may place a hold on your funds but this is not a charge by us. We
capture the transaction when the order ships out.
The card is cleared the same day if an item is
discontinued.
If a particular item is back ordered, you are immediately notified so you have
the opportunity to keep the order or cancel. Again, your card is not charged
until the backordered item has shipped. But your bank keeps the hold on your
funds pending the capture.
You are notified if an item is no longer available the same day you place the
order, or by the next business day if order is received in the afternoon or
evening hours. Our store functions 24 hours a day.
If you have a credit card dispute regarding a charge please contact us
immediately. Give us the opportunity to resolve the issue before doing a
chargeback. We incur a 50.00 non refundable fee even if we win the arbitration.
Return information
Within the first 10 days of receipt of your purchase you may return defective
items for an exchange.
If the item is determined to be not defective, it will be returned to you.
You may return any item that is
the wrong item we sent to you within 10 days for an exchange.
Returns must be postmarked within 10 days and on their way back to us. As we may
need to return the item to the manufacturer or distributor and often before 30
days.
For item exchanges, or any defective product please include all original
materials that came with the product. Including any accessory pieces, manuals
and warranty cards.
If you simply wish to return an item because you don't want it we will not take
it back. All sales are final. That includes all Fire and security equipment as
well as audio video products.

Any products returned with missing or damaged original parts or other contents,
or false claims of damage or working condition will be returned to the customer.
Chargeback Disputes
If you have an issue with an order please
contact us immediately.
Fraudulent chargeback's will incur a 50.00 non refundable fee to the cardholder.
This is where someone keeps the products but does a chargeback making a
fraudulent claim they did not receive the shipment.
Chargeback's where the customer did not contact us first, or try to resolve a
dispute with us may incur a 50.00 processing fee. When chargeback's are initiated
we may receive a penalty fee from certain credit card companies. This can also
affect a merchants ratings.
Order Cancellation Policy
Please submit any cancellation via email to
orders@garrett-smarthome.com
Order cancellations must be received by the
close of the same business day you placed the order. That's because most of our
orders ship the same day. You may call and we can check to see if its shipped
out or not.
Email cancellations must contain the following: First name, last name, order number, and email address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact
information so that we may contact you if we have questions in regards to cancelling your order.
Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been
shipped out. In the event that a cancellation was submitted (via email or phone), and your order was
shipped out after, (our mistake) we will gladly refund the complete balance charged including shipping. However, if the cancellation was documented as received after the order was shipped, we will refund the merchandise total less shipping.

Original manufacturer warranty is intact on all items we sell
